Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MemoSnap ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including event guests who upload photos via QR code.

2. Description of Service

MemoSnap is a guest photo-sharing platform that allows event guests to upload photos via their mobile browser. Photos are collected into a private gallery accessible to the event organizer. No app download is required.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to upload only content that:

• You took yourself or have the right to share
• Is appropriate for all ages and audiences
• Does not depict nudity, sexual content, violence, or illegal activity
• Does not violate the privacy or rights of any person depicted
• Does not constitute harassment, threats, or defamatory material

Uploading prohibited content may result in removal of the content, termination of access, and referral to law enforcement authorities.

4. Identity and Accountability

When you use the Service, your device information — including IP address, browser and device type, and the name you provide — is recorded and linked to your uploads. If you provide a selfie for gallery identification, that image is also stored and linked to your account session. This information may be used to identify you in the event of a violation and may be disclosed to law enforcement if required.

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of photos you upload. By uploading, you grant MemoSnap and the event organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and make available your photos to the event organizer and other guests via the gallery.

6. Content Removal

MemoSnap and the event organizer reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms at any time without notice.

7. Gallery Retention

Galleries are available for a minimum of 6 months from the event date. Where server capacity allows, galleries may remain accessible for up to 12 months at no additional charge, giving couples and guests continued access to their memories. After the retention period ends, all photos are permanently deleted. The event organizer may request early deletion at any time.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. MemoSnap does not guarantee uninterrupted access, data permanence beyond the stated retention period, or the accuracy of any content.

9. Limitation of Liability

MemoSnap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or from content uploaded by other users.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved under Philippine jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Changes do not apply retroactively to data already collected or actions already taken under prior versions of these Terms.
